DAILY CLEANING JOBS
TABLES: At the end of each period remove big pieces of clay and scrape off anything extra that is stuck. Then grab a sponge and wipe tables off. Make sure that you ring the sponge out before use on tables.
TOOLS: At the end of each period clean large pieces of clay from tools and return to table tool bin. If you wash tools off, make sure they are mostly dry before putting them away.
BUCKETS AND CLASS TOOLS: At the end of each period it is your job to make sure that all the small containers of water and slip are cleaned out. You should also get any extra class tools and put them back. For example detail tools, large carving tools, rolling pins, etc.

STORING CLAY PROJECTS BETWEEN CLASS PERIODS
- Clay will dry out quickly if left exposed to the air, so it should be carefully wrapped at the end of each class.
- Using a plastic bag, fully enclose clay project trying not to smoosh anything. Air inside the bag is okay as long as outside air cannot enter the bag.
- Do not store clay directly on wood board/bat as the wood will suck moisture out of the clay.
